I used to be the ‘calm and easy-going’ one, always the peacemaker. It felt natural, yet deep down, I questioned it. Was I truly calm, or just afraid to rock the boat? The truth was, I was terrified of upsetting others. I believed anger was unacceptable, so I suppressed my own feelings, tucking them away until they eventually erupted, leaving me feeling lost and disoriented. In the stillness, a profound realization dawned on me: my ‘calmness’ was a carefully constructed shield against a deep-seated fear of conflict.

Then, life took an unexpected turn. When Covid hit, I was laid off. This unexpected pause became a powerful invitation—a chance to finally ask myself what I truly wanted to do with the rest of my life, something meaningful.
